We offer many services to local writers including:
- A regular members newsletter, The Hunter Writer, with news about local writing events, HWC activities, author visits, competitions and writing opportunities.
- Writing workshops in creative writing, publishing and multimedia (usually discounted for HWC members)
- Weekly member writing groups - prose and poetry.
- Networking events for you to meet other writers and share experiences.
- A resource centre for all members in the Hunter to utilise.
- A reference library to help you develop your work.
- Job opportunities for writers.
- A membership card which entitles you to 10% off at MacLean’s Booksellers in Hamilton and Toronto.
RATES FOR 2012 (incl. GST):
- Full Membership: $40
- Concession: $30
- Youth: $20
